Clemson University, along with the family and friends of Kevin Thedford "Ford" Henderson, are excited to announce the establishment of the Ford Henderson memorial Scholarship. While at Clemson, Ford was a student in the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences and was a dedicated member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He enjoyed his summer internship at Black River Plantation and Mount Pleasant Plantation in conjunction with Tall Timbers. Ford fully appreciated the hands-on training he received through his internship and believed the experience provided him with invaluable connections and resources. This scholarship will enable qualified Clemson College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences students in their Junior or Senior year to have the same valuable learning experiences through these internships at various plantations.
Thanks to your help and generous donations, we have reached our goal of $100,000 donated to the scholarship fund! Reaching our goal means the scholarship is endowed and students for years to come will be blessed with this scholarship in Ford's memory! While we have reached the goal, we aren't ready to stop! We will continue to raise money to donate to the scholarship so that the recipients will be able to receive a larger scholarship.
