Clemson University, along with the family and friends of Kevin Thedford "Ford" Henderson, are excited to announce the establishment of the Ford Henderson memorial Scholarship. While at Clemson, Ford was a student in the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences and was a dedicated member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He enjoyed his summer internship at Black River Plantation and Mount Pleasant Plantation in conjunction with Tall Timbers. Ford fully appreciated the hands-on training he received through his internship and believed the experience provided him with invaluable connections and resources. This scholarship will enable qualified Clemson College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences students in their Junior or Senior year to have the same valuable learning experiences through these internships at various plantations.
Thanks to your help and generous donations, we have reached the $100,000 minimum to have a permanent endowed scholarship at Clemson so students for years to come will be blessed with this scholarship in Ford's memory! As the amount of the scholarship awarded is based on interest from the $100,000 endowed amount, we will continue to raise money! Additional funds, will allow the interest amount to be larger and in turn will allow students to recieve a larger scholarship amount! Please continue to give!
